Los Angeles, CA

From this blog people must think I live a pretty fabulous life; that every day is a party or at least a struggle to get into a party. I’ve recently gotten some emails asking why am so obsessed with socialites and basically telling me to get a life ;) The truth of it is this blog is just for fun. Yes, these are my real experiences, BUT most of my days are not this exciting. I live a pretty normal life of anonymity. I am no more fabulous than the next girl (ok, well maybe a little bit. LOL;). I wake up, snuggled with my dog (yes, one day I hope for a man in the bed too), throw on some sweatpants (I love free city, but have only one pair I borrowed and never returned to my mom because they are so expensive) and my Ugg boots, walk the dog, go to the coffee bean and write at the library.

I eat lean cuisines, fast food or out with friends, go to local bars and watch a lot of TV (Love Grey’s Anatomy, What About Brian, Real World, and pretty much what ever else is on. I love TV). I have a great my life. Its relaxed and low key, but sometimes I want more…

I think ideally, we ALL want more. Rarely are people content with what they’ve got and I’m no exception. I crave that big break in my career, enough money to not stress, invites to fabulous parties, a healthy and loving relationship, fun and fabulous friends. I want it all…

In my SOCIALITE dream world, here is my ideal day:

I wake without an alarm to the sound of the waves in my beachside Malibu Colony home. I rollover and snuggle with a hunky Brody Jenner type guy (Brody is NOT by dream guy, but he sure is good looking ;) I feel content and relaxed as I stretch and go through my morning routine. Outside, I munch on a handful of bacon (I love bacon and would eat it every day if it weren’t so damn unhealthy) as I walk in the sand and let the dogs run off leash on the beach. I chat with Pamela Anderson also walking her dogs and have a laugh with my neighbor Jim Carrey.

I would hop into my Porsche or BMW convertible (How awesome would it be to have a convertible sports car and an SUV parked in your garage?) and head to the Coffee Bean. In my dream world I would not give up my English breakfast tea latte (but there would never be a line and the sun would always hit the patio just right). I would sit and read trashy magazines (I love In Touch and US Weekly) and write (I would NEVER have writers block. Words would always flow freely out my fingertips ;) I would put my phone on vibrate while enjoying the sun since it would never stop ringing with calls from my agents (lots of hosting and writing offers would always be coming in).

Jessica Simpson and I would eat lunch bikini clad and poolside at the Mondrian Hotel (the goat cheese salad is to die for) with mimosas in hand. They would never bug me or ask if I was a guest of the hotel. After lunch, I would meet up with Sienna Miller to go shopping (I love her style) on Robertson (Lisa Kline, Kitson, Madison). I would not fret about the price tags. With my car full of my purchases, I would return home down the PCH wind blowing in my hair and there would never be traffic.

I would watch the sunset snuggled on a blanket in the sand with my guy and the world would feel safe and complete. We would shower (My mind gets dirty here, but lets keep it clean kids ;) in a steam shower with jets all over and from every angle. A make up and hair artist would be on hand to transform me into a Hollywood Bombshell with cascading curls, smoky eyes, red lips and huge eyelashes. I would choose my outfit from gorgeous (free) designer dresses that my stylist had chosen and dropped off earlier in the day (I would never wear the same outfit twice).

A chauffer driven escalade would be outside waiting to take me and all my friends to dinner at Mr. Chows (My biggest issue with LA is driving at night. DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!) We would be joined by Beyonce, Nicole Richie and Kirsten Dunst (they seem like they would be fun additions to my social circle). We would chow on crispy beef, chicken Satay, lettuce cups (I LOVE Mr. Chows) and sip rose champagne (I love champagne!!). Everyone would laugh and have a great time.

Of course, we would hit the clubs (which ever is the hottest for that night) and walk right in without any stress. I would dance with ¬¬Britney Spears (a sober and healthy Britney from the past) laugh with Cameron Diaz, flirt with Enrique Inglesias and when the lights come up, I would return home to my Peanut waiting (not barking) for me to get in bed for a snuggle.

Good Night Dream World!

I think its possible! Don’t you?
I can’t wait to see what the future brings!!

los Angeles, CA

I woke this morning feeling good and called my mom (Happy Mother’s day mom!) who is still on tour (She is in Monte Carlo now). I wished her a very happy mother’s day, sent her lots of love and jumped out of bed to start my Sunday!

I LOVE SUNDAYS!!

The sun had not yet broken thru the morning mist and so I bundled up in my sweatpants and Ugg boots and had a mellow, low-key morning. I walked peanut, had a little breakfast (Just a hard boiled egg, vitamins and OJ for me) and hung out around the house.

When the sun finally broke through the clouds, I did a quick costume change (bikini, mini skirt and heels… the proper attire for a Hollywood pool party) and hopped in my car. I swooped up Samantha and we headed out to meet Kim C. for brunch. We decided on the Belmont (on La Cienega), which is known for its make your own Bloody Mary bar (I don’t like Bloody Marys, but it did sound like fun). I ate a breakfast burrito with extra salsa (YUM!). The girls made Bloody Marys (I think it taste like spicy, cold tomato soup in a glass. YUCK!). Kim loved hers with grey goose, V8 juice, lemon and no spice. Sam hated hers with grey goose, V8, worschischire sauce, garlic, oregano, and who knows what else. She traded her nasty concoction in for a mimosa. When we were all good and full, we headed to the Roosevelt Hotel (The HOT Sunday pool party hosted my Kevin Todd… a nice promoter who lets us into his parties :)

I absolutely love to hang by the pool bikini clad and surrounded my beautiful people (doesn’t hurt to have a mimosa in hand too)! The DJ spun cool tunes, as we chatted with hot guys, poolside regulars and friends. Gorgeous gals in bikinis and stilettos strutted around the pool (Only in LA do you wear heels with your bikini to the pool… but it does make your legs look much longer and leaner ;) The time passes too quickly at the pool and soon enough it was time to head to the Kardashian’s for a Mother’s Day barbeque (By accident, I forgot my credit card at the bar. Guess I would have to return later to retrieve it).

Since our mom was away, the Kardashian’s took Evan and I in for the day (Love the Kardashian’s! They are such a close-knit family like my own. I think that’s why we get along so well… plus they are all so nice and fun). I arrived just as the appetizers and mimosas where being served (perfect timing!!) I presented the mom of the hour with fresh farmer’s market flowers (Never show up at a party empty handed) then headed straight to the 7-layer Mexican dip and tortilla chips. After some chatting with Brittney Gastineau and her mom, I donned a tutu (I love embracing my inner ballerina) with Kim’s little sisters and danced around the house (I’m a bit of a kid at heart and I LOVE playing with her sisters). We sat and chowed on yummy salads, veggie pasta, chicken, steak, delicious garlic bread, (I can feel my waist line expanding just writing about it).

Before all the cakes and cobbler’s were served, I made a quick getaway (I don’t know how to say no to good food and I could feel my stomach about to explode ;) I headed back down the 101 to Hollywood to meet up with the girls who had moved the party from the Roosevelt pool to Cabo Cantina on Sunset (It may not be the classiest joint, but we love Cabo’s two for one happy hour!) I arrived to the crowded bar and the girls were already wasted and talking to some very terrible guys.

After waiting 30 minutes in line for the bathroom, getting bumped into and spilled on one to many times, it was time to head out. We said our goodbyes and headed outside to wait for our car’s at valet. Out the door followed the two terrible, drunken men who Kim and Sam had been hanging with and who had obviously thought that buying a girl drinks means you are going to get lucky. They started yelling, cussing and calling Kim and Sam very not nice names (This is not a classy way at all to end a super fun Sunday and definitely unfit for a SOCIALITE). I got in the car, as did the girls who gave the crazy men some cash to try to appease them (which it didn’t). They continued to shout and get up into our friend Carl’s face which led to pushing and spitting (Gross!) and banging on the hood of my car (Don’t touch my car!)

A bit of wild, anger over took me and I got out of my car yelling at the crazed mad men who proceeded to spit in my direction (NO WAY! Now this is trouble) I yelled to Carl to get in the car and shoved the guy out of the way and got back in but he grabbed my hand and squeezed it SO hard (I thought he had broken my fingers, but luckily they are fine) Security FINALLY came out and got the guys out of the way of the car so we could escape.

My heart was still racing. I was still irate and confused about how I got in the middle of it at all. I dropped off Carl and the gals and returned to the Roosevelt to get my stupid credit card from the pool bar. Luckily, I bumped into my friend Austin who was an angel and iced my hand as I cried on his shoulder.

How can such a nice SUNDAY end so badly?

Nassau, Bahamas

My mom had 5 days off in between the American and European legs (that sounds a little bit dirty ;) of her I LOVE YOU tour. Instead of coming home to rest, she decided to rent a house in Nassau, Bahamas for a little family vacation. Mom, Rhonda, Tracee, Evan and I (Sadly, Ross couldn’t come because he had exams at college ☹) all met up in Nassau for a little rest, sun and relaxation.

I was happy to get away for a minute. Not that my life is so stressful or my work so exhausting, but I think it's important to sometimes get away and take a breather. Stop stressing about career, love life and all of life that is not going as planned and get back on track.I love the clubs and the parties and my friends, but I was happy to have a couple days away with myself, my thoughts, my family (Not to mention that its pretty fabulous to jet off to the Bahamas for a couple days).

After a long, arduous overnight flight from LA (Yes we were in first class, but 3 hours of sleep in sticky leather chairs does NOT make a good night’s rest) with Tracee and Evan, we arrived at Ft. Lauderdale airport groggy with eyes barely open. We bunkered in (I slept on the floor… no first class lounge here ☹) for a four-hour lay over and to meet up with Mom (coming from concert dates in Florida) and Rhonda (coming from visiting with her husband’s mother in Miami). After a bumpy flight on a small plane, we finally arrived in the warm, humid, sunny afternoon in Nassau (Ahh…). Gathering our bags and finding our car, we tried our best to slip into the slow Bahamian pace (Boy, does everything move SLOW in the Bahamas!)

We arrived at the gorgeous, beachside house and quickly I hopped into my new leopard print bikini (which I bought recently in Vegas). After a bite to eat, I quickly passed out for a nap in the sun, followed by a nap in the house. The first day was a wash, but each day following I worked on my tan while reading trashy magazines in the sun. I walked on the beach and swam in the ocean and pool (I love the water!) Evan and I kayaked. We ate fresh food and got eaten by mosquitoes. We laughed and enjoyed each other (a couple arguments, but mostly laughs and smiles. I love being with my family ;)

We used to come here often when we were young and I have so many great memories. Being in the Bahamas reminds me of the possibilities of life and love. Reminds me to not sweat the small stuff and cherish everyday. It reminds me that I am blessed beyond belief to live in a world wear the ocean is blue, the sand soft like powder and the sunset amazing.

I left the Bahamas refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to take life by the horns. Onward!!
