Dear Friends (and Haters).Due to some unfortunate mean people and my lack of a thick skin, it’s with my heavy heart that I announce that this will be my final SOCIAL BUTTERFLY blog (I will still blog, but in a new format with a new subject matter).
I thank all of you who come back weekly to check out my SOCIALITE adventures and cheer me on this experience. I hope I have brought some smiles and a little entertainment to your net surfing.
Here’s the deal… This started out as a fun way to get my writing out there and seen. An entertaining way to tell a story and get your attention / a writing sample if you will. I know I have accomplished that and many of you have enjoyed the ride, but for every ten positive comments or emails there is one so negative and hurtful that it makes this not worth it for me to continue. Writing and entertaining brings me joy, but the negative and hurtful things that have been said about me and my family make it not fun anymore.
People assume that I am shallow and mis-guided. The truth is, this “wanna-be socialite” is a CHARACTER / a very, very small portion of who I am. Seriously would you come back time and time again to read this blog if I was writing about sitting at the library writing a children’s book, lounging on my couch watching American Idol with my dog while eating a lean cuisine? I doubt it! People thrive on the negative or the shocking (I am NEVER gonna write a mean / tell all blog about Celebrity’s private lives. It’s not my style to be mean and vengeful. I’m a lover not a hater… If that’s what you like there are plenty other bloggers out there) I chose to parody one aspect of my life in a self-mocking style. It’s too bad many of you readers didn’t get it.
If anything from this blog I’ve learned that people enjoy, are moved and provoked from my writing. I think that is great and that was my intent. It makes me excited to write more and find other outlets for my writing (so keep an eye out!) Hopefully, my children’s books will hit the bookstore shelves soon, I will get articles posted in magazines that people have actually heard of and my new blog will attract some of you to stay and keep reading POSITIVE, thought provoking stories (Not mean celebrity tell alls).
Watch out for me… This is NOT the last you’ve heard from CHUDNEY ROSS!!
… And a little note to the haters that thrive on being negative and putting other people down. Remember to SMILE and my advice is to deal with your own issues before trying to sort out mine.

Stop playing baby I just started loving this blog your in my favorites.Don't let these haters stop you from making the rest of us happy.Plus you can make hella money on these blogs.Just take a couple weeks off come back and tell us what you did.I check the sight everyday to see something new and look what I got.You only reaching a certain number of people on this blog and you plan on being a writer what gonna happen when a few people tell you your books suck.This is what you do brush your shoulders and keep it moving.Remember rehab is for quiters.
I felt this coming! I am so sad that you have decided to end your blog. I really liked it! The "haters" are truly that! Most of them sounded mental and in need of some serious meds! It must have hurt you and I'm so sorry for that. You only meant to bring joy and fun and it has been lots of fun. Really going to miss it! Best to you in your future endeavors! Reading my way through your latest blog I at first felt my heart sink through the concern that "the meanies" out there had completely gotten to you. However, I'm glad to see actually they haven't. I'm pleased with your last couple of paragraphs.You're going to reach your goals I'm sure. Both talent and determination will get you there. I wish I could say to totally forget the nasty stuff you've read. The negative comments. To let them go right over your head. But that is always easier said than done. Can I just say that there are many of us out here supporting you...we did "get it"! You get those articles and books published and ...keep your dreams alive.

They come and they go. Regardless of what they say you should never give them your power. Not writing how you want only makes them think their right and you know their not. No ones perfect. They hate cause they know they cant be you."

Keep your head up! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog and have admired your beautiful mother and all that she has blessed this world with since I set foot on this earth almost 34 years ago. It is obvious that she passed her legacy, grace, and fierceness onto you and to your siblings. Stay strong, stay true to yourself, and just let your light shine brightly regardless of the naysayers! were they giving out free haterade at safeway? i have known chudney for years and not in away has she shown any diva or celebrity tendencies, except in karaoke.
I'm so sorry.....I really love this blog. It's unfortunate people have been saying mean and hurtful things about it but that's the real world. Not everyone is going to like what you put out there for the world to see. My suggestion is to focus on all the positive comments and ignore the negative. Don't quit blogging....who knows it might be worth it in the long run. Keep your head up! :)
I saw your mother cry when she read the newspaper and they had reported inaccurate and mean things when all she wanted to do was give a free concert in Central Park, many moons ago--the reason i saw her cry I happened to be braiding her hair (In her/your home in Conn. You were a little girl) After that I opened a salon on Park Ave for hair extensions I heard so many "haters" say things about your mom and I had an amazing experience with her, we laughed, cryed, shared-- I learned how to be a better business woman because of her, she only shared kindness. The moral of my little story is....as humans we feel, celebrity doesnt make you bigger than human emotion....but those that are talking with malice, usually arent doing anything that spectacular with their lives. they can only fly on your wings by trying to throw mud and drag you down to their level. Don't do it--don't give them the power to dictate your path. Cry if you need to, thicken up that skin and do your dance cuz this is your spot and no one should be runnin you out of your spot light. I enjoy your flow.

Thank you for all the kind and supportive emails and comments. I just feel that this SOCIAL BUTTERFLY blog does NOT show the real CHUDNEY. It was supposed to be a fun parody and it is not fun anymore. I dont post the mean comments and emails that I receive (you would be shocked by the things people say). I'm sorry to all that enjoyed reading this. I WILL continue blogging but in a new format that is more ME.

To be honest I think you're making the best move for yourself. You do have a nice talent for writing and I think you will stand a better chance of succeeding if you loose the 'lite stuff. It may be unfair, but (as you well know!) people pigeon-hole others very quickly. So keep up your writing, always strive to improve, and keep moving up!

Hey Chudney! I think you are doing the right thing. You are very talented and have the perfect writing style for the middle readers you are working on. People ALL OVER THE WEB were talking about you like a dog and how patehtic you are for trying hang with Paris and Kim K. Honestly, I think you are better than those girls and I'm glad that you are taking all of this negative publicity and turning it into something positive--the real you.
I wish you, Tracee, or Rhonda would write a book about what it has been like growing as Diana Ross' kids. I'm sure your mother can give you some tips because she had many haters in her prime as well. Although...I think she deserved a lot of the backlash she got. LOL. She did burn A LOT of bridges. YOU on the other hand can have a fresh start.

Since you judge Chudney by the little you know, it might interest you that Chudney has worked as an inner-city teacher, pays her own bills, babysits her friends' children, has friends of all races and classes, and perhaps most important, is one of the most genuine, creative, and giving people that I know. As Chudney stated, this "socialite" person is only a small part of her personality (and a funny one at that!), but she is so much more.
Do I understand that your ditching the social butterfly parody for blogging content that will give us hungry readers and supporters a fuller understanding of your "beautiful struggle?" If so, I can't wait! Peace and blessings.

I think the problem is that you come as really immature. Paris should not be an idol for anymore. And even worse that than is that you are already in your thirties. You are chasing a lifestyle that you will never have. You sound obsessed with things that should have held your interest a decade ago. You do sound shallow and juvenile.
